An Insight into KJSMUN
KJS MUN marks the beginning of an exciting new tradition at Kristo Jyoti School, Bokakhat. As the inaugural edition of our Model United Nations conference, it represents our commitment to fostering leadership, diplomacy, critical thinking, and global awareness among young minds. More than just a conference, KJS MUN is a platform where students come together to exchange ideas, engage in meaningful debate, and develop solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges. Dear Delegates, It is with immense pride and great pleasure that I welcome you to the inaugural edition of KJS MUN. Returning to my alma mater as the President of this conference is both an honour and a deeply personal milestone. This journey is especially meaningful because I had the privilege of initiating the idea of introducing Model United Nations at KJS and working alongside our respected teachers and school authorities to transform that vision into reality.

# UNGA: United Nations General AssemblyThe main deliberative organ of the UN, where every member nation has an equal voice on the most pressing global issues.
AGENDA:  Addressing the issue of Nuclearisation in the Middle East

# UNSC: United Nations Security Council. A fast-paced, high-stakes committee responsible for maintaining international peace and security through decisive action.
AGENDA: Deliberation upon the Sudan Crisis

# UNHRC: United Nations Human Rights CouncilDedicated to the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe, addressing violations wherever they occur.
AGENDA:-Protection of Civilians and Human Rights in Armed Conflicts with special emphasis on Humanitarian Access and Accountability.

# Mock Parliament: Indian Mock ParliamentA simulation of the Indian Parliament where delegates debate national legislation, policy, and governance.
AGENDA:- Deliberation upon the Delimitation Bills of 2026 with special emphasis on federal equity, demographic representation, and the structural execution of the women’s reservation quota

# IP: International Press Journalists, photographers and caricaturists who document the conference, hold delegates accountable, and shape the narrative.
